Product Design Lead

As a Product Design Lead at Modern Brands, you will rally behind our mission to create a revolutionary fashion design tool, making it more user friendly and aesthetically pleasing. You’ll work closely with a variety of people on the team to arrive at the best solution, immediately see the impact of your work, and get feedback. We’re looking for people who are interested in designing softwares to an incredibly high standard, comfortable working with other team members, and learning new technologies as needed.


What We’re Looking For

  • UI/UX with strong visual/graphic design skills and knack for market research.
  • Prefer experience with community build products and/or SAAS.
  • Experience with marketing a plus.
  • Experience with fashion or beauty a plus.


What You Will Do

  • Work with internal teams to build, own and maintain beautiful visual design assets and engaging materials that help us target our unique user groups.
  • Managing the output and signing off on all aesthetics for all marketing materials and all front end design to produce a cohesive message to our user base.
  • Front end design that is beautiful, but has a high level of functionality based on our current build. Research must be from inside out. We prefer to aim at a target and then shoot… this position will require a lot of learning before even speaking to a customer.
  • Ensure the creation and implementation of customized experiences for the digital user that promotes an active and functioning community. We want to have a powerful group of daily users by the end of next year.
  • Produce high-quality wireframes, flow diagrams, graphic designs, and site maps, as well as social templates, landing pages, community and educational content working strategically with all internal teams.
  • Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior. Set up interviews or other types of inquiry and build and operate analysis methods to help understand user needs and adjust as we build.
  • Work with marketing to perform tests on user interface elements such as CTAs, layouts, target links, landing pages, social, educational content, etc.
  • Maintain a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends by continuous learning and market research that is rooted in customer service and business development.


You’re Savvy In

  • Working with tools such as adobe, figma (other functional prototyping tools are ok).
  • Knowledge of social, wordpress, seo (ahrefs) search/implement and/or Hubspot a plus.
